The Plutonic Artist Remedios Varo

Remedios Varo, the quintessential Plutonic artist had Pluto opposite her Sun in the tenth house. That of course explains why her work is so powerful. Much of her work was inspired by themes of the times such as Jung and Freud, as well as alchemy and mysticism.
She is extraordinarily fascinating to me; she has the same birthday as me; 16 December and passed away the year I was born — 1963. I have so much in common with her.

She has Virgo rising with Mercury under the beams (in the fourth house and ruler of tenth house), and in exile (debility in Sagittarius) so I think she must have had a very difficult life as a political refugee in exile, and a struggle with the fame and attention she received.
